A-1 Piano: 7020 Greenwood Ave N
Artwork by Alexandra Lynn. I am interested in art that tells a story. I’ve currently been drawing landscape studies from memory and imagination to develop ideas for illustrating my creative writing.

I am looking forward to my third time showing work in the Greenwood Phinney ArtWalk. I was in the annual ArtWalk in 2008 and was a Juror’s Pick in 2009. Then the following year of 2010 was my BFA show at Cornish College of the Arts where I majored in Printmaking.

Featuring two solo shows from Seattle artists Ego & Jenny Dayton. Ego’s work has a flair for slightly dark, whimsical creepiness, influenced by the macabre sides of tattoo culture, street art, and underground fine art.

Dayton creates both paintings and 3-d miniature scenes for this exhibition. Her work is message intense, compassion and respect for animals is the gospel she preaches but she does it quietly. The message is always there, but you have to unfold the layers of the work to see it clearly. Jenny uses images, Cyrillic text and other graphic elements to guide the invested viewer toward an important truth. Artists present.
