Acrylic paintings on canvas and wood panels.  Cartoony, colorful, and silly art meant to be fun to look at. Eli Wolff is a Seattle native who makes art designed to get people to laugh.  His fondness for cartoons, sci-fi and fantasy book covers, 70s movie posters, and all kinds of pop-culture often creep into his work.  He loves visual puns and geeky mash-ups.  Some of his paintings start off just as a funny phrase and slowly evolve into a full painting.  Other times the painting comes first and then the title of the piece reveals itself. Coxen, C

Stretch and Staple: 8005 Greenwood Ave N

Art site providing light h’orderves and beverage. Featuring photography from Christian Coxen. Growing up on the Olympic Peninsula Christian is a Pacific Northwest photographer and deck hand currently working aboard a boat on a voyage from Southeast Alaska to Florida. In his travels he has been fortunate to go to visit places off the beaten track not reachable by car or plane and I believe you will see that in his work. The places may have a familiar pacific northwest vibe, but they are hard to place as we rarely see photographs from these tucked away corners of the pacific northwest. Artists present.

Urban Light Studios: 8537 Greenwood Ave N, Suite 1.

Featuring paintings from Jeremy Kronbach. Jeremy Kronbach’s art is informed by his world travels. From his childhood in West Africa to more recent exploration in Central America, Jeremy has captured the vivid colors from these places and translated them to canvas.

His painting process is similar to the traveling process itself. As the layers reveal their nuance, some elements remain, their weight and significance undeniable; others are covered over by new information as the journey continues. Incorporating pure abstraction, elements of cultural motif and the occasional representational object, his work reads as the chronicle of his travels abroad. After receiving a BA in Studio Art and a minor in Philosophy from Seattle Pacific University, Jeremy has kept a studio in Seattle Washington where he lives with his wife. Artist present.
