In her oil paintings, Mya Kerner looks out to the mountains and seas, noticing geological disruptions, moments and parts within the landscape. Together, these notes present a fractal image of the whole. Scratched lines break  through the slopes, while flecks of white dapple on eroded surfaces, recalling their winter dress. Mya attempts to capture these specific moments and leaves the rest in the haze. You can find more of her work on her website ( and follow her process on Instagram (@mya_kerner_art)
