Featured Artist: Amber Leaders
My love of imagining, drawing, and creating inspired me to begin developing my own designs and illustrations. I focus on Mid-century modern inspired design and am passionate about color, shapes and creating a joyful feeling of nostalgia with a modern twist.
My work is inspired by Scandinavian art and simple shapes and my designs reflect elements of my life experiences. Through my art I share a life that can be messy, beautiful and colorful – all at once.
I am passionate about color, shapes and creating a joyful feeling of nostalgia with a modern twist. My work can be found on my Esty store and is currently featured in a handful of local Seattle coffee shops and home stores.
Thank you for sharing in my ever-evolving artistic journey.

Featured Artist: Tarah Pennington
Tattooing for 8+ years, I am so grateful to call Two Birds Tattoo my home. While I will always have love for watercolor and watercolor tattoos, I am ready for change. I would love to work on more graphic and line-heavy tattoo projects. I love abstract, organic, textural, illustrative, and conceptual arts.
While I will still take on some watercolor tattoo work, I would like to incorporate it into more black line-heavy pieces. My love for color still abounds! I would love to do more saturated color work with either stand alone boldness or beautiful color blends. Bring me your pen-and-ink inspired ideas! Bring me some funky psychedelic imagery!

Art Up Site
Have you ever wanted to travel the world in a single day? Come visit Windermere Greenwood as we host The Art of Saving Humanity Project, featuring an amazing group of refugee artists, artisans from around the globe. Incredible jewelry, fine art paintings, basketry and knitted crafts will be on display and available for purchase. Musicians and dancers from Bhutan’s senior refugee group will be performing live in traditional costume and sharing their crafts. If you missed them at the Seattle Center exhibition last month, this is your second chance!
The Art of Saving Humanity is a local grassroots organization that works to provide new and used art supplies from community donations to King County’s resettled refugee populations. Donated supplies are used in art workshops for refugee youth and seniors’ groups to promote emotional healing, and are distributed to refugee artists and artisans to promote future works. Artists are encouraged to share their cultural art skills in an effort to preserve and protect these vanishing art forms during our ongoing global refugee crisis.
WANT TO GET INVOLVED? Round up your used art supplies (or pick up something new!) and bring it along to the art walk! Supply donations will be accepted at our office at the event and throughout the weekend.

Featured Artist: Arturo Torres
Arturo Torres, originally from San Luis Potosi in Central Mexico, has been living in Seattle since 1988. Arturo’s increasing interest in photography and his fascination with architecture inspired him to travel more extensively in his own country, Europe, and Latin America. In an effort to reflect his multi-cultural background, the colors Arturo seeks in his photos are vibrant and full of contrast.
