May Virtual Art Walk – It’s not The BIG One

This weekend, May 8 and 9, would have been PhinneyWood’s 25th annual BIG Art Walk. To commemorate, we had planned an exhibit of all 25 posters, all of which have been designed by Robynne Raye of Modern Dog Design.

As previously announced, the BIG Art Walk has been postponed — new date still to be determined — but here, for your viewing pleasure, are the posters (minus this year’s). Thank you, Robynne!.

Like last month, several venues are attempting a virtual art walk. Be sure to check them out,

Flying Bike Co-op Brewery is trying another virtual event this Friday, mostly likely a Zoom event with details posted to their Facebook and Instagram https://www.facebook.com/flyingbikecoop

Originally from the Midwest, Michael Bade has called the PNW home since 2006. He finds inspiration with our mountains, the landscape, with plants and animals, with hops, and with dinosaurs.

The Greenwood Collective will be hosting a virtual art walk Frday from 7 – 9 pm through their Instagram at @greenwoodartcollective

They’ll have some process demos, art talks, live artmaking, and perhaps some surprises.

Seattle Recycled Arts (which participated in The Big One two years ago) had planned a show for May 9 but have moved it online here
