As an artist interested in participating in one of the artwalk venues, there are 2 ways to get involved:
1) Come out to our artwalk and visit the venues in person to see which venue would be most appropriate for your artwork and approach the business directly.
2) Submit your artwork to our database:
- Email 3-5 images saved as JPEG files (size of each file not to exceed 1MB to firstname.lastname@example.org. Images must be representative of your work and created in the past two years.
- Title each image with your last name first, followed by 1 to 5 in the order in which you would like them to be viewed. For example, John Smith’s files would be Smith1.jpg, Smith2.jpg, etc.
- In the body of the email include medium, image size(s) and preferred contact information, i.e., email, phone, website, Facebook.
All submitted images will be posted to a Facebook page that will be shared with interested businesses. It will then be the responsibility of the business to contact potential artists. Details for installing work, etc need to be worked out between the artist and the business.
NOTE: Submitting photos does not guarantee inclusion in the art walk.
